This project involved the integration of Universal Robots with Cognex vision systems to develop automated solutions for object detection and manipulation. The main objective was to implement collaborative robotic cells capable of performing pick-and-place tasks based on visual input. Two different exercises were carried out: one where the robot identified objects by color classification, and another where it detected their precise location on the workspace. The outcome was a set of functional automation routines that demonstrated the feasibility of integrating vision-guided robotics into flexible industrial environments.
